The T2 Classic suprised me from the first listen with how complete it sounded. I had a hard time accepting this was a earphone with only 2 BA drivers. The coherency and completeness is such that I saw myself taking out some of my multi BA earphones, ST4, Bravery, DT300 and listening very carefully to find differences. Sure there was some of the typical BA timbre present, but thats me nitpicking on what is unquestionably my top choice for a 2BA earphone!
I am a professional gigging musician, mainly keys, sax and drums player in Philippines I listen mostly to almost any genre, but my personal preference is mostly jazz and fusion and contemporary pop. The Fitting and sealing of t2classic is above average here, I didn’t expect to have a snug fit from the looks of the IEM but it did give my ears a good hugging. I love my mids forward and it’s the shinning point for T2classic, which share a good vocals, are well presented for both male and female. Instrumental tracks felt alive and rich sounding.
